For the little one's future planet, we aim for the best possible when integrating sustainable and socially responsible practices in everything we do. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. A product can only be certified when the entire production chain, from harvesting to the finished product, meets the requirements. A Gray Label product carrying the GOTS label contains a minimum of 95% certified organic cotton fibres.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a certification that is used to ensure that textiles, such as clothing and other products, are made using organic fibers and produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. To be eligible for GOTS certification, a product must meet strict criteria for organic fiber content, environmentally friendly production methods, and social responsibility.
Some of the key requirements for GOTS certification include:
- Use of at least 70% organic fibers in the final product
- Use of environmentally friendly production methods, such as using low-impact dyes and reducing water and energy consumption
- Use of socially responsible production methods, including fair labor practices and safe working conditions
