To visit: Super cool experience with kids: the Lindt chocolate museum at the harbour.
To shop: the Belgium quarter with many pretty boutiques like “Schee” for interior stuff and cool prints.

To eat: Friedrich Fett – Tour caterer from a Germany hip hop band – cool location, brillant and down to earth cusine and Off Club – a Tim Mälzer restaurant (Tim Mälzer learned toghether with Jamie Oliver so a bit the same cooking style), very relaxed, brillant service, fantastic food.
To visit: Hafencity – already now but also when the new concert hall is will be ready and Blankenese – the stair quarters – a bit like Övelgönne nestle in the hill – here ‘s also a very nice café – Luhmans – for a brunch on a Sunday. Blankeneser Landstrasse 29.
To shop: Sternschanze - for more independent shops & modern layout/assortment and Barnbarn (in the area of Othmarschen) of course J.
Hannover

To stay: Look for flats on Airbnb – especially in Prenzlauer Berg. Airbnb gives you the opportunity to live like the locals do. When choosing an old building you can totally experience the East Berlin feeling.
