The Essentials
CAPUCINE VAYSSE's Way
Meet Capucine Vaysse. After spending eight years working in the fashion industry in Paris, she decided to embrace a new chapter. Together with her partner Henri, she left city life behind to build the family life she had always dreamed of under the southern sun, with their daughter Suzanne, almost three years old, by their side. Soon, they will welcome their second child, and Suzanne will become a big sister.
“Where we live in Arles, the light is beautiful and naturally draws us outside as often as possible. Here on our rooftop terrace in the morning, everything feels peaceful and still.”
“The Saturday morning market is a true family tradition for us. We love wandering through the stalls, taking our time, meeting familiar faces, and soaking up the atmosphere. It often ends with a ride on the carousel for Suzanne, which makes it even more special.”
“As often as possible throughout the day, the little everyday moments are usually the funniest.”
Playtime?
“Essential! Here, Suzanne is playing with chalks she received for her birthday, and she loves covering our front steps with drawings and colors. She’s also very excited about becoming a big sister and can’t wait to play with the baby.”
“I think the best childhood memories are rooted in simple things, the quality of the time spent together, the feeling of being loved, and all those small everyday moments that stay with you forever.”
“Morning cuddles all together in the parents’ bed.”
Drink?
"Then heading out for a coffee in town. We’re very lucky to be able to walk everywhere, and Suzanne loves having her own little cup of warm milk too, it’s become part of our ritual.”
“She has always been very curious and interested in discovering new things, especially through books. Lately, the book Dessine-moi by Milvia and Simji Park has been on repeat.”
“My favorite item is the Sleeveless Dress. It’s adorable, practical, and such an easy piece to wear throughout the day.”
